Close to the Swiss border and overlooking the sparkling waters of Lac de Chalain, la Pergola is a good quality terraced site set amongst the rolling hills of the Jura. Neat and tidy, it is very well appointed, with 350 pitches, 100 for touring, mainly on grass and gravel and separated by small hedges. All have electricity (6A), water and drainage and some have shade from a variety of mature trees. The well-appointed bar/restaurant and terrace are next to the three swimming pools and the entertainment area, with good views over the lake. This is a good holiday base in high season for families. English is spoken.
Facilities
Three good quality and well appointed toilet blocks provide all the necessary facilities including facilities for disabled visitors and excellent provision for children. Motorcaravan services. Shop (1/6-15/9). Bar. Self service restaurant. Pizzeria/takeaway (15/5-15/9). Pool complex, two pools heated. Good play areas and children’s club. Archery. Boules. Lake swimming. Fishing. Pedaloes, canoes and small boats for hire. Organised programme in high season, evening entertainment with disco twice weekly. Internet access and WiFi.
