Château de la Grenouillère is an attractive site set in a 28-acre park midway between Orléans and Tours, well situated for visiting many of the Loire châteaux. The 280 pitches, with 130 for touring, are in three distinct areas. The majority are in a wooded area, with about 60 in the old orchard and the remainder in open meadows. There are varying amounts of shade from the trees. There is one water point for every four pitches and all have electric hook-up (10A). Additionally, there are 14 fully serviced pitches with a separate sanitary block in the outbuildings of the château.
Facilities
Three excellent sanitary blocks are well appointed. Laundry facilities. Shop. Bar. Pizzeria and pizza takeaway. Restaurant and grill takeaway. Swimming complex of four pools (one covered) and slide. Spa with whirlpool, jacuzzi, sauna, massage. Tennis. Games room. Bicycle and canoe hire (July/Aug). Fishing. WiFi (charged).
