Although Saint-Avit Loisirs is set amidst rolling countryside, far from the hustle and bustle of the main tourist areas of the Dordogne, the facilities are first class, providing virtually everything you could possibly want without the need to leave the site. This makes it ideal for families with children of all ages. The site is in two sections. One part is dedicated to chalets and mobile homes which are available to rent, whilst the main section of the site contains 199 flat and mainly grassy, good sized pitches, 99 for touring, with electricity (6/10A). With a choice of sun or shade, they are arranged in cul-de-sacs off a main access road and are easily accessible.
Facilities
Three modern unisex toilet blocks provide high quality facilities, but could become overstretched (particularly laundry and dishwashing sinks) in high season. Shop, bar, good quality restaurant, caféteria. Outdoor swimming pool, children’s pool, water slide, crazy river, heated indoor pool with jacuzzi. Fitness room. Soundproofed disco. Minigolf. Boules. BMX track. Tennis. Quad bikes. Play area. Bicycle hire. Canoe trips on the Dordogne and other sporting activities organised. Good walks and cycle routes from site. Additional charge for some activities.

Site is 6 km. north of Le Bugue. From D710 Le Bugue-Périgueux road, turn west on narrow and bumpy C201 towards St-Avit-de-Vialard. Follow road through St Avit, bearing right and site is 1.5 km.
