La Garangeoire is a stunning campsite, situated some 15 km. inland near the village of St Julien-des-Landes. Set in 200 hectares of parkland surrounding the small château of la Garangeoire, of which there is an outstanding view as you approach through the gates. With a spacious, relaxed atmosphere, the main camping areas are on either side of the old road which is edged with mature trees. The 356 pitches, all named rather than numbered, are individually hedged, some with shade. They are well spaced and are especially large (most 150-200 sq.m), all with electricity (16A) and some with water and drainage also.

Site is signed from St Julien; entrance is to the east off the D21 road, 2.5 km. north of St Julien-des-Landes.

    On site are four signposted trails, a riding centre with qualified instructors, three fishing lakes, soccer school (high season) and a pedal-karting circuit. Off site: bicycle hire, tennis courts. Nature trails around the Lac de Jaunay (2 km). Sailing and surfing in Brétignolles-sur-Mer (12 km). Golf course in Coëx (8 km).
