Canterbury Camping & Caravanning Club Site

Canterbury, Kent, South East

Alan Rogers Review

Situated just off the A257 Sandwich road, about 1.5 miles from the centre of Canterbury, this site is an ideal base for exploring Canterbury and the north Kent coast, as well as being a good stopover to and from the Dover ferries, and the Folkestone Channel Tunnel terminal. There are 200 pitches, 109 with electric hook-ups (10/16A) and, except at the very height of the season, you are likely to find a pitch, although not necessarily with electricity. Most of the pitches are on well kept grass with hundreds of saplings planted, but there are also 72 pitches with hardstanding (more are planned).

Location

Getting there...
From A2 take Canterbury exit and follow signs for Sandwich - A257. After passing Howe military barracks turn right into Bekesbourne Lane opposite golf course. Do not use sat nav due to narrow approach lanes. O.S.GR: TR172577.
