Alan Rogers Review
High above the village of Tristach and 5 km. from Lienz, this is a perfect location for a good campsite. When we arrived the owner said, ‘This is a green paradise at the gateway to the Dolomites’ – it did not take us long to agree totally with his assessment. The 110 pitches all have 6A electricity (long leads may be necessary) and the 11 pitches for motorcaravans near reception each have electricity, water and internet access. Caravans are sited on a gently sloping field which has level areas although pitches are unmarked and unnumbered. At the bottom of this field is a small lake which can be used for swimming.
Location
Getting there...
Site is 5 km. east of Lienz. In Lienz initially follow signs for Spittal and at traffic lights turn right towards Tristach. Go under the railway and over a small bridge then turn sharp left, still towards Tristach and Tristacher See. Go through village of Tristach and after 1.5 km. turn right up to the site, which is at the top of a 1 km, 1:10 climb.
