Alan Rogers Review
Zell-am-Ziller is in the heart of the Zillertal valley at the junction of the B169 and B165 Gerlos Pass road and nestles round an unusual 18th-century church noted for its paintings. Campingdorf Hofer, owned by the same family for over 50 years, is on the edge of the village just five minutes walk from the centre on a quiet side road. The 100 pitches, all with electricity (6/10A; long leads may be needed) are grass on gravel. A few trees decorate the site and offer some shade. A pleasant development provides a bar/restaurant and terrace, games and TV room, a small heated pool which can be covered and a sun deck.
