Camping Zeeburg is attractively located to the east of Amsterdam on an island in the IJmeer and, unusually, combines a sense of nature with the advantage of being just 20 minutes from the city centre. In a sense Zeeburg reflects the spirit of Amsterdam, claiming to be ‘open, friendly and tolerant’. The site offers 475 larger caravan and motorhome pitches and smaller (and cheaper) tent pitches. Most pitches have views over the IJmeer. All 75 caravan and motorhome pitches have a 10A electrical connection. Tent pitches cannot be booked in advance and the maximum duration allowed on site is 14 days. Zeeburg also offers a number of low cost wooden cabins and wagonettes.

Location
Getting there...
Site is on the eastern side of Amsterdam. From the A10 (Amsterdam ring road) take exit S114 to Zeeburg. Then follow signs to the city centre and, before reaching the Piet Hein tunnel turn left and then right into the campsite. The site is well signed from the A10.
