Camping Wien-Sud

Wien-Atzgersdorf, Vienna, East

Alan Rogers Review

This site, which is in a former Palace park and was closed for some years, reopened in 2003 with new facilities and new management. It is now probably the best site in the greater Vienna area, with good public transport links to the city centre and a friendly and welcoming atmosphere. With 154 touring pitches with electricity (16A) and 42 with water and drainage, the site provides a good base for city sightseeing. With many mature trees and some shade you will find this a peaceful and quiet site. Walking and cycling are popular in the nearby Vienna woods.

Location

Getting there...
From the A2 turn onto the A21 towards Linz (if you’re heading north the slip is just past IKEA). Turn off the A21 at first exit (Brunn am Gebirge) and head north. Keep going on this road to site (well signed) on the right in Atzgersdorf. From the A23 (Süd-Ost Tangene) take Altmannsdorf exit and follow the signs.
