Il Pioppeto lies to the south of Pescara and is a great choice for a low season holiday, notwithstanding its pitches, which are a little small. However, in peak season the adjacent beach and main road (SS16) are both very busy and there is a lively entertainment programme. The site is well maintained and tidy with shady pitches on level ground (all with 3A electrical connections). The sandy beach is delightful and the site also boasts a good range of leisure amenities. The four toilet blocks are of a good standard although some washbasins have just cold water.

From the A14 motorway (Bologna - Taranto) take Vasto exit and join SS16 towards Vasto from where site is well signed.
