Alan Rogers Review
Perched high on a hilltop on the edge of Rome this is another venture by the Cardini/Vanucchi family, who have other quality city sites in Italy: IT6042, IT6614 and IT6612. Camping Village Roma has been brilliantly redeveloped over the past three years into possibly the best city campsite in Europe. The diverse range of facilities are designed in particular to meet the needs of young travellers and the aim here is to provide a friendly helpful service all year round. There are 150 pitches of varying sizes on level terraces. Motorcaravans are mostly placed in a separate area where 80 pitches are fully serviced. There is some shade and most have attractive views.
Location
Getting there...
Site is west of Rome. From A1 autoroute take Roma North exit towards the airport Fuimcino. Take the GRA and exit 1 ‘Aurelia’ towards San Pietro-Citta del Vaticano-Centro. At the 831 km. marker the site is well signed. On exit at dual carriageway continue straight on and site is 50 m. on the right.
