Camping Vela Blu

Cavallino-Treporti, Veneto, North East

Alan Rogers Review

Thoughtfully landscaped within a natural wooded coastal environment, the tall pines here give shade, while attractive flowers enhance the setting and paved roads give easy access to most pitches. The 241 pitches vary in size (55-100 sq.m) and shape, but all have electricity (10A) and 80 have drainage. A sister site to nos. IT60360 and IT60140, Vela Blu is a smaller family style site and a pleasant alternative to the other massive sites on Cavallino. It is a popular destination for Italian families, booking is essential for high season and national holidays. A substantial swimming pool with mini waterpark was added in 2010. A clean, fine sandy beach runs the length of one side of the site with large stone breakwaters for fun and fishing.
