Set in the National Park of Adamello Brenta, a refuge of the European brown bear, Camping Val Rendena, is an enthusiastically run family site with a very friendly feel. There are 52 level grass touring pitches with some tree shade, all with 6A electricity and spaced between the seasonal pitches. The site’s location makes it an ideal base from which to explore this beautiful region, rich in flora and fauna, where wooded hills with many marked paths reach up to 1,800 m. Beside the site runs the Sarca River, bordered for much of its journey by a cycle way.

Two sanitary units, a small one in the reception block, a larger one at centre of site. Free hot water, controllable showers, some washbasins in cabins. Facilities for disabled visitors. Baby room. Laundry. Motorcaravan service area. Shop selling essential items. Solar heated swimming pool with adjoining children’s pool (1/6-30/9). Large playing field. Play area and play room. Bicycle hire. Communal barbecue. Massage and other treatments by appointment. Eight apartments to rent.

Location

Getting there...
Site is 35 km. northwest of Trento. From the A22 (E45) Brenner - Verona autostrada take exit for Trento-Centro. Then travel westerly on the SS45b to Sarche, then SS237 to Ponte Arche and Tione di Trento. From here head north on the SS239 towards Madonna di Campiglio for about 10 km. to Darè. Immediately after entering Darè take descending slip road to the right then follow camping signs to site beside river. Do not follow GPS instructions to enter a small lane to the right before Darè as this leads to a very narrow, height-restricted bridge.
