Alan Rogers Review
Set high up in the Alpujarras region of the Sierra Nevada, Camping Trevélez is a super site that was bought in 2005 by the resident owners, Richard and Alexandra. Since taking over they have worked tirelessly to improve the site and each year have made significant progress. The site, which is open all year, is reached via a narrow, winding road and is ideally suited to tents and smaller motorcaravans which are sited on terraced plots, each with spectacular mountain views. Sit outside at night and wonder at the stars above but make sure you have a torch; it gets very dark at night.
