Alan Rogers Review
This spacious campsite is situated in an attractive part of the Jura. The site has 180 stony and often uneven pitches of varying sizes, many quite large. There are 153 for touring units, 140 have electricity (6/16A, long leads may be needed). Rock pegs are essential. Mature trees and high hedges provide good shade and privacy. From just outside the entrance, a path leads steeply down to a sandy beach on the edge of a large leisure lake, the Lac de Vouglans, Alternatively, the journey can be made by car (2 km).
Facilities
Three modern toilet blocks (a long walk from some pitches) contain British style WCs, washbasins and preset showers. En-suite facilities for disabled people. Baby room. Washing machine, spin dryer and ironing board. Shop for basics (1/6-31/8). Gas supplies. Bar and takeaway (1/6-31/8). Paddling pool (20/6-31/8). Playground. Boules. Family entertainment (July/Aug).

Getting there...
From the south, at the north end of the A404 motorway, continue north towards Orgelet and Lons-le-Saunier on the D31, D436, D27, and D470. Just before Charchilla go left on D301 to Maisod and follow site signs.
