Alan Rogers Review
Tranquilla is a family run site on the western slopes above Baveno, close to Lake Maggiore. The site is in two terraced sections, both with electricity connections (6A). The 55 touring pitches vary in size with trees offering plenty of shade. There is a very pleasant swimming pool with an attractive paddling pool. Reception is housed in an attractive old railway carriage from where the Cagiada family will welcome you. Excellent English is spoken. The site is an ideal base from which to explore this very attractive area.

Baveno is 90 km. northwest of Milan on the western shore of Lake Maggiore, and is on the SS33 road between Arona and Verbania. Site is well signed to the west in the northern part of the town.
