Camping ’t Strandheem has 330 quite large, numbered pitches (110 sq.m) some with hardstanding and suitable for motorcaravans. All with electricity (4 or 10A), there are 180 used for touring units, partly separated by low hedges but without much shade. Of these, 45 pitches have water points, drainage and cable TV connections. The De Bruinewoud family will give you a warm welcome. The reception building houses an attractive bar, a full restaurant, a disco for teenagers and a shop. The site has a lot to offer, especially for youngsters with an entertainment programme in high season with water games in the lake next to the site, a games area and an indoor pool.

Follow A7 west from Groningen towards Heerenveen and take exit 31. Follow campsite signs from there.
