Camping ’t Hilgelomeer enjoys a pleasant, quiet lakeside location close to a wooded area and the town of Winterswijk. Pitches here are generally grassy, open and of a good size and all with electric hook-ups (6/10A). Two sanitary units are satisfactory and the smaller one is found beside a number of fully equipped mobile homes and chalets, which are available for rent. The large lake has good fishing and swimming with an attractive sandy beach on the opposite bank. The surrounding countryside of the Achterhoek offers some fine walking and cycling opportunities. On-site amenities include a children’s playground and a small area for ball games.

Getting there...
Site is north of Winterswijk. Approaching from the west (Arnhem) use A18 and N18 to Groenlo and then head south on N319 to Winterswijk. From here follow signs to the campsite.
