Akkertien op de Voorst is in the grounds of a former farm close to the Friesian lakes and the IJsselmeer. There are 215 pitches (115 are for tourers) on large, flat grassy fields with shade at the rear from high bushes. In circular bays, the pitches are up to 150 sq.m. and all have 10A electricity. To the front of the site are the reception block, a canteen area for drinks and late night gatherings. There is a large tent for the recreation team where in high season games and events are organised for children of all ages. A fascinating tractor museum displays several antique tractors.

Getting there...
On A6 in either direction, take exit for Urk/Nagele and continue to Nagele. From Nagele, continue on N352 road towards Vollenhove. At Vollenhove, take first exit on roundabout onto N331 road towards Zwolle. Take first exit at next roundabout and follow site signs.
