Sur En is at the eastern end of the Engadine valley, about 10 km. from the Italian and Austrian borders. The area is, perhaps, better known as a skiing region, but has summer attractions as well. This level site is in an open valley with little shade. They say there is room for 120 touring units on the meadows where pitches are neither marked nor numbered; there are electricity connections for all (6A). As you approach on road 27 and spot the site way below under the shadow of a steeply rising, wooded mountain, the drop may appear daunting, but becomes less so as you proceed.

Getting there...
Sur En is 7 km. east of Scuol. It is signed from the 27 road halfway between Scuol and Ramosch. The road is a steady, winding descent. Cross covered timber bridge (3.8 m. passable height).
