Strandbad Aga is a useful night stop near the A4/A9 and is within reach of Dresden, Leipzig and Meissen. It is situated in open countryside on the edge of a small lake, with 200 individual, fenced pitches, mostly fairly level, without shade. The 70 touring pitches all have 16A electricity – for stays of more than a couple of days, over-nighters being placed on an open area. The lake is used for swimming, boating and fishing (very popular with day visitors at weekends and with a separate naturist area) and there is a small playground on one side (close to a deep part).

Site is 8 km. north of Gera. From A4/E40 Chemnitz - Erfurt autobahn take exit 58A for Gera and Landenberg, then the B2 towards Zeitz, following Bad Köstritz signs at first, then Reichenbach and site signs. Site is on left 1 km. after passing through Reichenbach.
