Camping Son Bou was opened in 1996 and has been purpose built in local style providing a large, irregular shaped pool with marvellous views across to Monte Toro, and overlooked by a shady, terraced bar and restaurant. The 313 large pitches, 143 for tourers with 10A electricity, are arranged in circles radiating out from the main facilities and clearly edged with stones. Natural pine tree shade covers most but the outer ring. Drinking water and refuse points are well placed. The ground is hard and devoid of grass except where sprinklers operate.

From Mahon (Mao) follow main road to Ciutadella. Go past Alaior (bypassed) and watch for restaurant on left and sign for 3.5 km. Torre Soli Nou and campsite sign.
