Camping Solcio is a family run site on the lakeside and has lovely views over the lakes and the surrounding green hills. The 105 neat touring pitches are 60-90 sq.m. with 6A electricity and mostly shaded by trees. A very pleasant restaurant and a bar back onto a large building alongside the site, and there are some views of the lake from the terraces. All manner of watersports are available here and the beach is of coarse sand. The lake is fine for safe swimming. An ambitious entertainment programme is arranged for children in high season, and there is adventure sport for the over tens.
Facilities
One main central toilet block is smart and clean. Toilets here are British style. An older block nearer reception has mixed Turkish and British style toilets. Facilities for disabled visitors. Baby room. Washing machine and dryer. Restaurant and bar with terrace. Basic shop. Full entertainment programme in season. Play areas. Baby club. Bicycle hire. Internet. WiFi in restaurant. Torches useful. Dogs are not accepted.

Location
Getting there...
Site is on the west side of Lake Maggiore. From A4 (Milan - Torino) take the A8 to Castelletto Sticino. Then north on SS33 towards Stresa and look for site sign at km. 57 marker at town of Lesa. Take the narrow access road to the site.
