Situated within easy travelling distance of the attractive and interesting towns of North Holland, especially Alkmaar, this excellent family site is separated from the sea by 900 m. of grassy dunes. With the dune environment, the ground is basically sandy but grass has grown well and hedges are now established. Specialising in family holidays, unusually for the Netherlands only touring units are taken (with a bungalow park adjacent). The 300 pitches are arranged in lines backed by high hedging. All have 6A electricity and 110 are fully serviced with water, drainage and cable TV connections. A good restaurant/bar has an attractive terrace.
Facilities
Two modern toilet blocks are in neat, low buildings. Hot water for showers is free (with a fascinating panel demonstrating how solar power helps to heat the water). Private washing cabins, family shower rooms, baby bathrooms and raised level showers for children. Three private bathrooms to rent. Laundry room with hot water on payment and microwave. Motorcaravan services. Gas supplies. Shop. Restaurant/bar, takeaway (all season). Play areas. Minigolf. Recreation room. WiFi (charged). Dogs are not accepted

Getting there...
From Alkmaar, take N9 northwards towards Den Helder. Site is signed after about 18 km. towards the sea at St Maartensvlotbrug.
