Alan Rogers Review
Close to Rome, this site provides a quieter, garden setting in some areas, but has a very lively, busy atmosphere in others. It is situated in a delightful valley, flanked by two of the seven hills of Rome and is just off the autostrada ring road (GRA) to the north of the city. The site runs a bus shuttle service every 30 minutes in the mornings to the local station and one return bus to Rome each day (08.00-12.00 and 16.30-20.30). The 250 pitches for touring units (3A electricity to some) are not marked, but the management supervise in busy periods.
Facilities
Three soundly constructed sanitary blocks are well situated around the site, with open plan washbasins, and hot water in the average sized showers. Facilities for disabled campers. Well stocked shop. Bar/restaurant and terrace. Money exchange. Swimming pool at the bottom of the site with bar/snack bar and a room where the younger element tends to congregate (separate pool charge). Disco. Excursions. Bungalows to rent. WiFi.

Location
Getting there...
From autostrada ring road exit 3 take Via Cassia (signed SS2 Viterbo, NOT Via Cassia Bis) and look for site signs. Turn right after 1 km. and follow small road, Via Italo Piccagli for 1 km. to site. This narrow twisting road is heavily parked on during the day so access can be interesting.
