San Francesco is a large, very well organised site situated to the west of the Simione peninsula on the south east shores of Lake Garda. The 323 touring pitches are generally on flat gravel and sand and enjoy shade from mature trees. There are three choices of pitch of different sizes with 6A electricity; 76 are fully serviced. They are marked by stones but there is no division between them. A wooded beach area of about 400 m. on the lake is used for watersports and there is a jetty for boating. There are delightful lake views from the restaurant and terrace.
Facilities
Sanitary facilities are in two large, modern, centrally located buildings. Spotlessly clean and well equipped. Excellent facilities for disabled campers. Shop (sells gluten-free products). Restaurant. Bar. Pool bar. Pizzeria. Takeaway and snacks. In a separate area across the road: swimming pools (1/5-19/9; disability hoist) and jacuzzi, sports centre and tennis. Playground. Entertainment programme, organised activities and excursions. Bicycle hire arranged. Torches required in some areas. WiFi (charged).
