Camping Ruinen is a large, spacious site with 299 pitches in the woods of Drenthe. All 276 touring pitches have electricity (4/10A) and include 105 serviced pitches with water, drainage, cable TV and electricity connections. The numbered pitches are over 100 sq.m. in size and are on large, grassy fields. They are separated by hedges and in the shade of trees and there are 5 hardstandings for motorcaravans. At this comfortable site you can relax by cycling or walking through the woods or over the moors, or join organised trips in groups on a regular basis.
Facilities
Four well-spaced toilet blocks provide washbasins (open style and in cabins), child-size toilets, bathrooms, child-size baths and a baby room. Facilities for disabled visitors. Laundry. Motorcaravan services. Shop. Restaurant with children’s menu. Pancake restaurant. Play areas between the pitches. Giant chess. Boules. Minigolf. Bicycle hire. Full entertainment programme in high season. WiFi. Dogs are allowed on certain pitches only.
