Camping Riaza

Riaza, Segovia, Castilla Y Leon

Alan Rogers Review

This site is situated in the province of Segovia, a hundred or so kilometres north of Madrid, making it an ideal spot for a few days rest en route north or south. Of the 350 spacious grass pitches 213 are for touring, all with electricity (8A), water, and drainage. The buildings on the site are sympathetically built of local stone and house a large clubroom, bar and welcoming restaurant, a good place to relax and enjoy the excellent menu. The little town of Riaza is typically Castilian and has a few monuments and a very nice ‘folksy’ restaurant, which offers a daily menu at a low price. It is known for its high quality and people come from afar to savour the Segovian speciality, suckling pig on the spit.
