Camping Punta d’Oro

Iseo, Lombardy, North West

Alan Rogers Review

Camping Punta d’Oro, at the town of Iseo in the southeast corner of the lake, is a small, delightful campsite. It has been run by the Brescianini-Zatti family for the last 30 years and you will receive a very warm welcome on arrival. The very pretty site slopes gently down to the lake. It has 62 grass pitches (with two static caravans for hire) all with electrical connections, mainly 6A. Trees and shrubs provide some shade and there are lovely views across the lake to the mountains. Lakeside pitches are a little more expensive. There is some occasional noise from the nearby railway.

Location

Getting there...
Lake Iseo is 50 km. west of Lake Garda. Leave A4 Milan - Venice autostrada at Rovato, turn left to roundabout and go north on SPXI following signs for Lago di Iseo. Punta d’Oro is on northeast side of Iseo. Avoid town centre and turn northeast on SP71 for 1.5 km. before turning back north across the railway and turn right at site sign.
