Camping Pradafenz

Churwalden, Graubünden, East

Alan Rogers Review

In the heart of the village of Churwalden on the Chur - St Moritz road, Pradafenz makes a convenient night stop and being amidst the mountains, is also an excellent base for walking and exploring this scenic area. At first sight, this appears to be a site for static holiday caravans but three large rectangular terraces at the front take 50 touring units. This area has a hardstanding of concrete frets with grass growing through and ‘super-pitch’ facilities of electricity (10A), drainage, gas and TV sockets. A flat meadow is also available for tents or as an overflow for caravans. Although the gravel road which leads to the tourers’ terrace is not very steep, the very friendly German speaking owner will tow caravans there with his tractor if required.
