A comfortable family run site, in a rural situation close to St Gilles Croix-de-Vie, and just 5 km. from the coast at Brétignolles, Camping Pong has 237 pitches of which 177 are for tourers. All are of a good size and have electricity; most also have a water tap and drainage. The bar, snack bar, function room, games room, gym and shop are in a neat group of buildings next to the reception. The original area around the small, lightly fenced fishing lake has mature trees, whilst in the newer section, trees and shrubs are developing well.
Facilities
A modern, well equipped sanitary blocks serves the main touring area and provides controllable showers, washbasins in cabins, facilities for disabled visitors, baby room, dishwashing and laundry room. The older blocks are of a more traditional style. Shop (July/Aug), Bar plus snack bar and takeaway (15/6-15/9). Heated pool with jacuzzi, toboggan and imaginative play/paddling pool (from 15/5). Small gym, TV lounge and games room. Bicycle hire. Fishing. Fenced play area. Children’s club and family activities and entertainment programme (July/Aug). Wifi in bar area (charged).

Getting there...
Landevieille is 32 km. west of La Roche-sur-Yon via the A87/D160 Les Sables road; take exit for La Motte Achard and follow D12 for St Gilles Croix-de-Vie. Site is on the edge of Landevieille and is signed from the D12 and from the D32 (Challans - Les Sables-d’Olonne).
