Alan Rogers Review
Playa Tropicana is a unique site which will strike visitors immediately as being very different. It has been given a tropical theme with scores of ‘Romanesque’ white statues around the site including in the sanitary blocks. The site has 300 marked pitches separated by lines of flowering bushes under mature trees. The pitches vary in size (50-90 sq.m), most are shaded and there are electricity connections throughout (some need long leads). There are 50 pitches with shared water and drainage on their boundaries. The site has a delightful position away from the main hub of tourism, alongside a good sandy beach which shelves gently into the clean waters.

Getting there...
Alcoceber (or Alcossebre) is between Peñiscola and Oropesa. Turn off N340 at 1018 km. marker towards Alcossebre on CV142. Just before entering town proceed through two sets of traffic lights and turn right immediately after the second set, follow the road to the coast and site is 2.5 km. The entrance sliding gate faces the coast road and incorporates a pedestrian gate. Avoid alternative route given by GPS as that road is very narrow in places and very uneven.
