Pico de la Miel is a very large site 60 km. north of Madrid. Mainly a long stay site for Madrid, there are a huge number of very well established, fairly old statics. There is a small separate area with its own toilet block for the 80 touring units, all with electricity (8A Europlug). The pitches are on rather poor, sandy grass, but the artificial shade has been removed and trees planted. There are yet more pitches for tents (the ground could be hard for pegs). The noise level from the many Spanish customers is high and you will have a chance to practise your Spanish!

Getting there...
Site is well signed from the N1. Going south or north use exit 57 and follow site signs. When at T-junction, facing a hotel, turn left. (Exit 57 is closer to site than exit 60).
