Le Clapotis is a small and tranquil naturist site, situated between Narbonne and Perpignan in a secluded pine wood beside the Etang de Lapalme (a large sea lagoon). There is direct access to the lagoon which is popular with those in pursuit of the ideal conditions provided for windsurfing. In total there are 230 pitches with 173 for touring, all with electricity (4A). They are of a good size on stony or sandy ground. Pitches in the older part have excellent shade from the pine trees and in the newer area, shade is increasing as the hedges grow. There is a relaxed feeling of harmony and freedom about this site.

Getting there...
Exit the N9 junction 40 in direction of Port Leucate. At roundabout take N9 north for 3 km. to next roundabout. Turn right (Port-la-Nouvelle). Site sign in 500 m. on right. Follow narrow, poorly made up road for 2 km. bearing left up hill to site.
