Fuentes Blancas is a comfortable municipal site on the edge of the historical town of Burgos and within easy reach of the Santander ferries. There are around 350 marked pitches of 70 sq.m. on flat ground, 250 with electrical connections (6A) and there is good shade in parts. The site has a fair amount of transit trade and reservations are not possible for August, so arrive early. Burgos is an attractive city, ideally placed for an overnight stop en-route to or from the south of Spain. The old part of the city around the cathedral is quite beautiful and there are pleasant walks along the riverbanks outside the campsite gates.

Getting there...
From the north (Santander) continue on N623 through city centre to km. 0. Follow signs for E5/A1 Madrid. After crossing river take slip road for N120/A231 Leon but then turn left towards Fuentes Blancas and Cartuja de Miraflores for 3 km. Site is well signed on left. From south on A1 and from all other motorways follow signs for Burgos and N623 Santander. At foot of hill, before river, take slip road for N120 and proceed as above.
