Alan Rogers Review
The Somosierra offers spectacular scenery and is very popular with Spanish skiers. This site is situated in an open, sunny lower valley, in the Madrid area’s only beech forest near a large nature reserve. The area is ideal for anglers and walkers and also offers many opportunities for outdoor sports enthusiasts. The site is on terraces and has 308 small pitches with 100 for touring (50 with electricity 5/7A Europlug; long leads required in some areas). These pitches are mainly flat with grass or gravel surfaces and shade from mature trees but unfortunately are very uneven. The upper area is taken by permanent units.
