Alan Rogers Review
Camping Miramare is a pleasant, fairly shady site with beach access, a good swimming pool and entertainment programme. The site is divided by a road and reception is on the beach side, along with most of the amenities. The other side is very peaceful with just sports amenities and a sanitary block. The 230 touring pitches are separated from the permanent units. All have 6A electricity and some have water and drainage. The beach is of soft sand and there is a lifeguard. You can hire sunshades and loungers. The restaurant offers traditional food and a plethora of pizzas which can be enjoyed on the terraces.
Facilities
Three identical, modern, clean blocks, one of which is in the area of the permanent campers. Push button hot showers and primarily Turkish style toilets. Facilities for disabled guests. Baby room. Laundry rooms. Motorcaravan service point. Pleasant bar. Restaurant, pizzeria and takeaway, smart shop (all open all season). Excellent swimming pool and separate paddling pool (14/5-19/9). Several great play areas. Multisport court. Bicycle hire. Entertainment and children’s activities in high season. WiFi throughout (charged). Mobile homes to rent. Dogs are not accepted in high season.

Getting there...
Site is off the S309 south of Chioggia. Follow signs to Sottomarina, crossing the Laguna del Lusenzo, then look for site signs. Site is off Viale Mediterranneo road to the right. Site is the second of many along this narrow road.
