Alan Rogers Review
This fairly basic ex-municipal site is located a few hundred metres from the village of Loyat and 5 km. from the large town of Ploërmel. The 65 grass touring pitches are level and each pitch is separated by well established trees. Long leads may be required for the 10A electricity hook-ups, and the water points may be some distance from certain pitches. This simple site is open all year and is ideally suited for anglers as there is a fishing lake and river adjacent. A short walk takes you into the village where most basic requirements can be bought. The long distance cycle route, ‘voie verte’ is nearby.
Facilities
One small sanitary block has open style washbasins and preset showers. There is a second newer Portacabin style block. No facilities for disabled visitors. Laundry facilities. Covered swimming pool (April-Sept). Play area. Fishing. Bicycle hire. Internet access. Torches useful. A mobile home specially adapted for disabled visitors is available to rent. WiFi (charged).

Getting there...
Site is in a northern direction from Ploërmel on the D766. Take D13 signed Loyat. Site is on left after 1 km. before entering Loyat Village.
