Alan Rogers Review
Under the same ownership as Las Dunas (no. ES80400), but a complete contrast in terms of size and location. It is a small site with all the amenities of the town within easy reach and the beach within 100 m. and fabulous new sanitary facilities for 2010. The site has a canopy of fir trees giving excellent shade. There are 140 pitches of which 90 are for touring units, so reservation is essential. Unusually for a small site, all pitches have electricity, water and drainage. In season there is a bar and pizza oven. There is some road noise despite the very high wall between the site and the busy road alongside.

Getting there...
L’Escala is northeast of Girona on the coast between Palamos and Roses. From A7/E15 autostrada take exit 5 towards L’Escala on GI 623. Turn north 2 km. before reaching L’Escala towards Sant Marti d’Ampurias. Site well signed on north side of town and beach. Watch for site name high on wall.
