Les Puits Tournants is a simple, rural site, situated in lovely countryside in the battlefield area of the Somme, a short stroll from the River Somme along a quiet country lane. The owners, the Lebon family, speak very little English, but are extremely warm and friendly. The site has 80 pitches, 30 of which are for touring, and all have 4/6A electricity, water and a drain. A few pitches are individual with surrounding hedges, but most are placed informally in unmarked areas around the fishing lake. A lot of development is taking place just now, and parts of the site are rather overgrown and untidy, particularly around the mobile home area.
Facilities
One modern, heated toilet block, unisex, very clean. There will be more toilets once the pool complex is finished. Laundry with washing machine and sink. Motorcaravan service point. Small shop in reception. One pitch on site is specifically for disabled visitors, and has a small, wooden building on it containing toilet/shower facilities. Swimming and paddling pools (15/4-15/10). Small playground. Fishing.

Getting there...
From A16 take A29 easterly to exit 52. Turn north to Villers Bretonneux, then take N29 towards Lamotte Warfusée. From there take D42 north to Sailly-Laurette and continue on D333 to Sailly-Le-Sec. Site is 100 m. from the church.
