Les Medes is different from some of the ’all singing, all dancing’ sites so popular along this coast, and the friendly family of Pla-Coll are rightly proud of their award-winning site and provide a very warm welcome. With just 170 pitches, the site is small enough for the owners to know their visitors and, being campers themselves, they have been careful in planning their top class facilities and are aware of environmental issues. The level, grassy pitches range in size from 70-80 sq.m. depending on your unit. All have electricity (5/10A) and 155 also have water and drainage. All are clearly marked in rows, but with no separation other than by the deciduous trees which provide summer shade.
Facilities
Two modern spacious sanitary blocks can be heated and are extremely well maintained. Washbasins in cabins, top class facilities for disabled visitors and baby baths. Washing machines and dryer. Motorcaravan services. Shop. Bar with snacks and pizza (all year). Good value restaurant (1/4-31/10). Swimming and paddling pools (1/5-15/9). Indoor pool with sauna, solarium and massage (15/9-15/6). Play area. TV room. Entertainment, activities and excursions (July/Aug). Diving activities. Multisports area. Boules. Bicycle hire. Internet access and WiFi. Torches are useful. Dogs are not accepted in July/Aug.

Site is signed from the main Torroella de Montgri - L’Estartit road GE641. Turn right after Camping Castel Montgri, at Joc’s hamburger/pizzeria and follow signs.
