Alan Rogers Review
Les Hautes Coutures is a pleasant site beside the Caen ship canal and a short walk from Pegasus Bridge. Being ten minutes from the ferry, it is very good for overnight stops although there is a minimum stay of two nights in the peak season. However, with the D-Day Beaches of Sword, Juno, Gold, Omaha and Utah on your doostep, one day is not enough. This well laid out site has 277 pitches, 99 for touring and the remainder for mobile homes, both private and rental. Of the touring pitches, some are among those homes in the upper part of the site and are of variable sizes, separated by mature hedging. Those alongside the canal are larger and trees mark their boundaries. All are on grass and have electricity (6-10A).
