Les Ecureuils is a wooded site in a quieter part of the southern Vendée. It is undoubtedly one of the prettiest sites on this stretch of coast, with an elegant reception area, attractive vegetation and large pitches separated by low hedges with plenty of shade. Of the 278 pitches, some 128 are for touring units, each with water and drainage, as well as easy access to 10A electricity. This site is popular with tour operators (54 pitches). Jard is rated among the most pleasant and least hectic of Vendée towns. The harbour is home to some fishing boats and rather more pleasure craft.

Getting there...
From Les Sables-d’Olonne take the N949 towards Talmont-St Hilaire. Keep right in the centre (D21 towards Jard). From La Roche-sur-Yon follow the D474 and the D49 towards Jard-sur-Mer. Do not use sat nav for final approach. From the village follow the signs ‘Autres campings’ or Camping les Ecureuils. Site is on the left.
