Set 1,000 metres up in the stunning scenery of the Alps, les Cariamas is at the gateway to the Ecrin National Park and within easy reach of the Serre-Ponçon lake and the Rabioux-Durance river. Of the 150 pitches, 120 are for touring and all have electrical connections (6-10A), are pleasantly shaded and many offer beautiful views of the surrounding countryside. These pitches are close to some of the mobile homes and chalets available for rent but they are large enough for this not to be a problem. Fully equipped tents are also available to rent. It would be an idea to check the availablity of the amenities prior to arrival, especially in low season. Part of the site is close to a main road so some noise may be experienced during peak times.

Getting there...
From Gap follow signs to Embrun Briançon. Take turning for Châteauroux-les-Alpes at first roundabout after Embrun. Shortly (800 m.) before the village turn right and follow signs to site. Access to the site is via a 700 m. narrow lane with some passing places.
