Le Patisseau is situated in the countryside just a short drive from the fishing village of Pornic. It is a relaxed site with a large number of mobile homes and chalets, and is popular with young families and teenagers. The 102 touring pitches, all with electrical connections (6A), are divided between the attractive forest area with plenty of shade from mature trees and the more open ‘prairie’ area. Some are on a slight slope and access to others might be tricky for larger units. A railway runs along the bottom half of the site with trains several times a day, (but none overnight) and the noise is minimal. The Morice family work very hard to maintain a friendly atmosphere.
Facilities
The modern heated toilet block is very spacious and well fitted; most washbasins are open style, but the controllable showers are all in large cubicles which have washbasins. Also good facilities for disabled visitors and babies. Laundry rooms. Shop (1/7-30/8). Bar, restaurant and takeaway (all season). Indoor heated pool with sauna, jacuzzi and spa (all season). Small heated outdoor pools and water slides (1/6-30/9). Play area. Multisport court. Bicycle hire. WiFi in bar area.

Getting there...
Pornic is 19 km. south of the St Nazaire bridge. Access to site is at junction of D751 Nantes - Pornic road with the D213 St Nazaire - Noirmoutier Route Bleue. From north take exit for D751 Nantes. From south follow D751 Clion-sur-Mer. At roundabout north of D213 take exit for le Patisseau and follow signs to site. Avoid Pornic town centre.

Great for under 12s
The beach is just 2.5 km. away, but there's plenty to do on site - a children's club, three playgrounds, a proper heated indoor pool with paddling pool, and an outdoor swimming complex with slides, paddling pool and water games.
