This rather old site is situated on the banks of the Tarn river 1.5 km. outside Millau. Plenty of trees provide ample shade and the site could be a little dark on cloudy or dull days. There are 220 pitches, of which 120 are for touring, all with electricity (5A); the remainder are occupied by mobile homes for rent, and tents owned by a tour operator. The river will attract older children who will love to climb the trees and jump or dive into the water, but as the site is open onto the river younger children would need supervision.
Facilities
Four toilet blocks along the middle of the site provide easy access from all pitches. The blocks are old but kept clean, with washbasins in cabins and pushbutton showers. Hot water to dishwashing and laundry sinks. Motorcaravan services. Small shop, bar with TV and snack type restaurant with takeaway (all July/Aug). Unheated leisure pool (1/6-30/9). Limited children’s club in high season along with video and non-professional entertainment for adults in the evening. Fishing and river swimming (despite its name, there is no beach here).

Location
Getting there...
Millau is 110 km. northwest of Montpellier and is off the A75 (Clermont-Ferrand/Béziers) motorway. From north leave at Exit 44.1 and follow Aguessac (D29) then Paulhe and join D187 towards Millau. Site on right in 4 km. From south leave at exit 47 D909 (Millau). Follow ‘Campings’ at each roundabout, finally turning right across river and take third exit at next roundabout. Site is signed and on left in 1.5 km.
