Alan Rogers Review
Beside the mellow stone village of Lansargues on the edge of the Camargue, le Fou du Roi is run by the Brunel family. They have done much to update the site with a new reception/bar area complete with an attractive Tahitian style construction which can be left open or closed depending on the weather. Altogether this a lovely little site. There are 82 pitches with 30 for touring units with 10A electricity, arranged in light shade amongst the vineyards. A small pool and play area for children make it a very comfortable site with a nice long season.
Facilities
Two toilet blocks, the first is modern and fully equipped with a baby bath, the second was not open when we visited. Facilities for disabled visitors. Washing machine and dryer. Motorcaravan service point. Small shop (July/Aug). Bar, simple snacks and takeaway (fully open July/Aug). Swimming pool (1/5-15/9). Play area. WiFi. Only gas barbecues are permitted (communal area provided).

Getting there...
From A9 exit 27 follow signs for Lunel and from there pick up D24 going south. Lansargues is 7 km. Do not take ‘village centre’ sign but continue past and pick up site sign just past village on right.
