Alan Rogers Review
This stretch of coast is a real holiday area with numerous campsites, holiday villages and hotels between the coast road and the sandy beach on this large bay northeast of Vieste. Situated at the far end of the Gargano peninsula and close to the Foresta Umbra, Camping Le Diomedee is part of a large chain of campsites and other holiday resorts. The site has 320 pitches, 170 used for touring units, the remainder occupied by bungalows or caravans for rent. The touring pitches are under high screens to provide some shade, so are between vertical metal poles. Some are directly in front of the beach.
