Alan Rogers Review
The focus at Camping Lauwersoog is very much on the sea and watersports. One can have sailing lessons or hire canoes and, with a new extension, there is direct access to the beach from the site. There are 550 numbered pitches with 300 for tourers. Electricity (10A) is available at 275 large pitches and 125 have water, drainage, electricity and cable connections. The pitches are on level, grassy fields (some beside the beach), partly separated by hedges and some with shade from trees. A new building in the marina houses a restaurant, bar, shop and laundry, and also provides beautiful views over the Lauwersmeer.
