Gasthof Camping Latsch is 640 m. above sea level between a main road and the river, with splendid views across to the surrounding mountains. About 20 of the 100 touring pitches are on a terrace by reception with the remainder alongside the river. They are in regular rows which are separated by hedges with thin grass on gravel which can look quite dry. All have 6A electricity and 47 also have water and drainage. Trees provide some shade. An underground car park (for 35 cars) protects vehicles from winter snow and summer sun and, if used, gives a reduction in pitch charges. Mountain walkers will be in their element here and several chair lifts give access to higher slopes.
Facilities
The traditional but well maintained sanitary block is on two floors (to serve each section), has all the usual facilities and is heated in cool weather. Excellent private bathrooms (20 with basin, shower, toilet) for hire. Facilities for disabled visitors. Washing machine and dryer. Motorcaravan service point. Shop, bar and pleasant restaurant. Small heated indoor pool, sauna, solarium and fitness room. Larger, irregularly shaped outdoor pool with marble surrounds. Playground.

Getting there...
Latsch/Laces is 28 km. west of Merano on SS38 Bolzano-Silandro road. Site entrance by the Hotel Vermoi (keep on main road, don’t turn off to village).
